Privacy Policy
Last updated October 12, 2026
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.
- Visitors without an account leave no personal data on the server.
- With an account: your Google name and email, your sign-ins (time, IP address, device), your location only if you choose to share it, and a log of changes you make.
- Alerts by text or phone call only if you add and confirm a mobile number; remove it any time.
- No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See Text messages (SMS).
- You can delete your account yourself at any time from the account menu.
Who runs this site
alexgrishchuk.com, including Blue Command and its asset trackers, is run by Alex Grishchuk LLC (Alex Grishchuk; "I", "me"). Blue Command is Alex Grishchuk LLC's fleet telematics service. Questions or requests about your data: alexgrishchuk1@gmail.com.
If you just visit
The home page and these policies are public; Blue Command (with its asset trackers) needs an account. Visiting them doesn't create any record about you on the server: there are no access logs, analytics or tracking. Your browser keeps a few settings locally (your light/dark theme, which updates you've read, and that you've seen the cookie notice); they never leave your device. See the Cookie Policy for the full list.
To show pages, your browser also contacts a few other services directly, which see your IP address like any website you load something from: Google Fonts (typefaces), unpkg.com (the map software, on map pages) and OpenStreetMap (map images, on map pages).
If you have an account
Accounts use Google sign-in. Signing in for the first time creates an account with no access; an admin decides what each person can do. With an account the site keeps:
- From Google: your name, email address and Google account ID. No password ever reaches this site, and your Google profile picture isn't kept.
- Your access: the permissions an admin has given you, and whether your account is enabled.
- Sign-ins: for each sign-in, the time, your IP address and your browser and device type (for example "Chrome on Windows"). This is to spot sign-ins that weren't you.
- Your location, only if you choose. After signing in you're asked whether to share where you are. Only if you say yes does your browser ask too, and only that sign-in's location is kept. "Not now" and "Don't ask again" are always there, and saying no changes nothing about your access.
- When you were last active, and a sign-in session, which ends after 2 hours without activity.
- Which updates you've read on the home page, so new ones show in bold on any device.
- Alerts, only if you set them up: the alerts you create in Blue Command (what to watch, which units, and whether to email, text or call you), your mobile number if you add one (it's only used once you confirm it with a texted code, and only for alerts), and a record of each alert message sent to you (when, how, what about, and whether it was delivered), which you can see on the Alerts page.
- Push alerts, only if you add them: your Pushover user key and whether you chose alarm mode.
- Your companies and jobs: which companies and jobs an admin has put you on (this decides which equipment you see in Blue Command), and the call lists you're on.
- Call-outs: when a call list pages you, a record of who was called or alerted, when, and who acknowledged (by pressing 5 on the call or in Pushover).
- If you text STOP or START to an alert number: when you did, so texts stop (or start again) from every alert number.
- Your text and call opt-in: when you confirmed your number, from which IP address, and which version of the opt-in wording you agreed to, as a record that you asked for alert texts and calls. Deleted when you remove the number.
- If someone invited you: the email address, the mobile number and the access they entered. The number is only filled in on your Alerts page for you to confirm; nothing is texted to it unless you opt in there.
- Changes you make: asset tracker equipment, devices, photos and notes; Blue Command mirrors and alerts; home page projects and updates; and, for people who manage accounts, approvals and permission changes. Each is logged with your email and the time.
Fleet and equipment data
The tracker and Blue Command show data from equipment, not people: positions and readings from Hubble Network trackers, eze.io controllers and Samsara vehicles and equipment, plus photos and notes people add. Equipment positions are shown only to signed-in people allowed to see that equipment (their companies and jobs). To work out driving distance, equipment positions are sent from the server to Google's Routes API. Photos have their location metadata (EXIF) removed when uploaded.
Why it's kept
- To let you sign in and use what an admin has given you access to.
- To keep accounts secure: sign-in records and the activity log show who did what and when.
- Your location is kept only because you agreed to share it, for the same security reason.
- Your mobile number and alert history are kept because you asked for alerts, to deliver them and show you what was sent.
Who sees it
Only people the site admin allows to see accounts (the Users page) or the activity log. Nothing is sold, rented or shared for advertising. Service providers that handle data for the site:
- Google Cloud hosts the site and its database (servers in Iowa, USA).
- Google provides sign-in, the fonts, and road-distance calculation (equipment positions only).
- Hubble Network and eze.io provide the equipment data.
- Samsara provides connected vehicles' and equipment's positions, readings and engine faults.
- Anthropic, when AI fault explanations are enabled, receives the engine make/model and diagnostic fault code to generate an explanation. Requests contain no site account details. Explanations are kept for reuse, and operating or repair decisions must be checked against the maker's manual.
- Twilio and Telnyx are the carriers' gateways that deliver alert texts and calls on our behalf (Telnyx only as a backup when Twilio can't). They process your number and the alert only to deliver it, and may not use it for anything else. See Text messages (SMS).
- Pushover delivers push alerts, if you add your Pushover user key: it receives that key and the alert.
- Google (Gmail) sends alert emails: it receives your email address and the alert.
- unpkg.com and OpenStreetMap serve the map software and map images to your browser.
Information may be disclosed if the law requires it.
Text messages (SMS)
Blue Command Alerts is Alex Grishchuk LLC's alert text and call program for Blue Command users who opt in on the Alerts page.
- What we collect: the mobile number you enter, the record of your opt-in (when you confirmed the number, from which IP address, and which wording you agreed to), and whether you've replied STOP.
- How we use it: only to send you the equipment alerts you set up, the one-time code that confirms your number, and replies to HELP, STOP and START. Never for marketing.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number, SMS opt-in data or consent with anyone. The messaging providers that carry our texts (Twilio, and Telnyx as a backup) process the number solely to deliver our messages to you.
- Your choices: reply STOP to any alert text to stop texts, HELP for help, or remove your number on the Alerts page. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies with the alerts you set up. See the Terms.
How long it's kept
| What | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Sign-in records (time, IP address, device, location if shared) | 180 days, then deleted automatically |
| Activity log (changes people made) | 2 years, then deleted automatically |
| Sign-in sessions | Until you sign out or after 2 hours without activity |
| Record of alert messages sent to you | 90 days, then deleted automatically |
| Call-out records (who was called, who acknowledged) | 1 year, then deleted automatically |
| Mobile number not yet confirmed | Until its code expires (10 minutes) |
| Your mobile number, text/call opt-in record, STOP record, Pushover key and alerts | Until you remove them or delete the account |
| Invites (email, mobile number, access) | 30 days after they're used or expire; a number from an invite that's never confirmed is cleared then too |
| Your account, permissions and read updates | Until you or an admin delete the account |
When an account is deleted, its sign-ins, locations, read markers, mobile number, alert history and permissions are deleted with it, and its alerts stop. Entries in the activity log about changes you made stay until they reach their 2 years, so the history of the fleet stays complete.
